Gnome Acres privacy policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
Gnome Acres collects no personal or device data. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no crash-reporting services, and it does not send anything about you to us or to anyone else.
This policy covers the game Gnome Acres, made by Oakstone Studio ("we"), on every platform where it is sold.
Your farm stays on your device
Your farms, saves and settings are stored only on your own device. We never receive them. If your phone, tablet or computer makes its own backups (for example Android's device backup, iCloud Backup or a computer backup on iPhone and iPad, or Time Machine on a Mac), your saves may be included in them; those backups are yours, and we cannot see them.
Your saves stay on your device until you delete them. Deleting a farm in the game deletes its save, autosaves and backup files, and deleting the game deletes all of its saves and settings. On a Mac, macOS may keep the game's folder (in Library/Containers in your home folder) after the app is deleted; deleting that folder removes them too. We never receive your saves, so we have no copy of them to delete.
Buying the game
The store you buy the game from (such as Google Play, or the App Store on iPhone, iPad and Mac) handles the payment. We never see your payment details. Like every developer, we get reports from the store: sales reports with one line per purchase (the country and device model and, for some countries, the city and postcode) and download totals by country and type of device. They never include your name, your email address or your payment details.
Crash reports and usage totals from the store
If you have chosen to share usage and diagnostics data with Google, or turned on "Share with App Developers" in Apple's Analytics & Improvements settings, Google or Apple may show us anonymous crash and freeze reports for the game (device model, system version and where the game stopped) and anonymous usage totals (for example how many devices played the game). They contain nothing that identifies you, and we use them only to fix and improve the game. You can turn this sharing off in your device settings.
Children
Gnome Acres is not directed at children under 13. Because the game collects no data at all, it collects none from children either.
Internet access
The game plays offline. It does not open network connections of its own, except when you choose to follow a link (such as this page), which opens in your browser. On Android it does not even ask for the internet permission, and on a Mac the App Store version runs in Apple's sandbox without network access.
Changes to this policy
If we ever add something that uses your data, such as online features, we will update this page before that version is released and tell you about it in the game.
Contact
Oakstone Studio is Fabiano Furlan, who is responsible for this policy and is the seller of Gnome Acres on the App Store.
